Olímpio Rocha was interviewed this Thursday (16) on Sabatina CBN and Jornal da Paraíba, in João Pessoa. The PPP signed between Cagepa and the Spanish company Acciona foresees that the company will provide sewage services in 85 municipalities in Paraíba for the next 25 years. According to Olímpio, if he is elected governor of Paraíba, the contract will be suspended. ? The pre-candidate associates the end of the public-private partnership with Cagepa with the transposition. "We are going to end the privatization of Cagepa, value Cagepa, so that we are able, together with the Lula government, to make it possible for the transposition to reach ever stronger for the people of Paraíba", he declared. The candidate also spoke about issues such as public safety and transport, and also promised to create a zero-fare policy for intercity transport, based on a prior study.
