IEGM allows you to evaluate different areas of public administration Ascom TCE-AL The Court of Auditors of Alagoas (TCE-AL) reported that all municipalities in the state completed, within the deadline, sending the questionnaires for the Municipal Management Effectiveness Index (IEGM) 2026, a tool used to evaluate the quality of public administration. According to the TCE, the IEGM brings together information on different areas of municipal management and allows the identification of advances and challenges in the administration of city halls. Based on the data sent, the agency will be able to guide managers in adopting measures to improve the provision of public services. The director and coordinator of the IEGM Commission at TCE-AL, Paulo Mota, highlighted the involvement of municipal managers, internal controllers, servers and technical teams in filling out the information. According to him, joint work was essential for all city halls to complete the stage within the scheduled period. Also according to the Court of Auditors, the mobilization had the support of the Association of Municipalities of Alagoas (AMA) and the School of Public Accounts, which helped to publicize the deadlines, offered technical support and guided the municipal teams during the process.
