Ipatinga City Hall/Disclosure The Ipatinga Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) recovered a stolen car and arrested a 42-year-old man in the early hours of this Sunday (12), during a preventive patrol in the central region of the city. The approach took place around 3am, at Passagem Almenara. According to GCM, the agents found the man inside a car and, during the inspection, they checked for signs of violation in the ignition system. They reported that they had not yet noticed the theft and confirmed the disappearance of three helmets that were inside the vehicle. "We identified the true owner of the vehicle, who had no knowledge of the theft," said GCM inspector, Adilson Pereira. The car was seized and removed to an accredited yard, where it will undergo forensic examination.
