Santos Fish Market celebrates six years on July 18th Nathalia Filipe/PMS The Santos Fish Market, on the coast of São Paulo, will hold the Premium Mullet and Shrimp Festival between the 14th and 19th of July. In celebration of the space's six years, the event brings together fish offerings, gastronomic attractions and special programming for the public. During the festival, premium mullet will be sold from R$12.99 per kilo, while shrimp will be priced from R$29.99, according to the event organizers. Furthermore, the public will be able to participate in free tastings promoted by traders at different times: on Saturday (18), from 10am to 4pm, and on Sunday (19), from 10am to 2pm, with the participation of Cervejaria Jurássica. Fish Market The space has been part of Santos' tourist itinerary since 1982. Installed since 2020 in a 2 thousand square meter building in Ponta da Praia, the market brings together 20 stalls specialized in selling fresh fish and seafood, in addition to the Paru restaurant, run by chef Dario Costa, winner of the 2020 edition of the Mestre do Sabor program.
