TV Rio Sul's 'Change the World' project Disclosure/TV Rio Sul TV Rio Sul promotes, on July 18th, the "Change the World" action, in Vassouras (RJ). The event will be held from 9am to 1pm, at the Old Railway Station, in the Center. With activities aimed at raising environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable practices, 4,098 seedlings will be distributed to the population. Of this total, 2,568 will be donated by TV Rio Sul, which will also deliver 100 fans made with seed paper. Another 1,500 seedlings, including vegetables and species native to the Atlantic Forest, will be made available by the Vassouras Municipal Environment Department. Collection will be carried out by the Rotary Club of Vassouras and the Municipal Department of the Environment, which will also receive plastic, cardboard, glass and metal for recycling. The program will also feature environmental education activities, presentation of work developed by students on environmental preservation, distribution of informative material on the municipality's selective waste collection and a leisure space for children, with inflatable toys. The event will also feature an exhibition of electric scooters, promoted by YESU Mobilidade Elétrica, sponsor of the action, with the aim of encouraging the use of less polluting transport alternatives.
