He was identified as Celio Roberto Felix Matos, according to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP). The accident happened on Avenida 23 de Outubro, around 1 am. According to the Fire Department, the motorcyclist was found lying on the ground, unconscious and not responding to verbal and tactile stimuli. During the initial assessment, the military identified trauma to the frontal and parietal regions of the head, in addition to bleeding. After receiving initial care at the scene, the man was immobilized on a rigid board and taken to the Paraíso Regional Hospital. ? According to firefighters, while traveling to the health unit, he suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest. The team immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers, which were continued until arrival at the hospital, where death was certified. According to the SSP, investigations into the case will be conducted by the 63rd Paraíso Police Station. Celio's body was sent to the Legal Medicine Center of Paraíso, where it will undergo necroscopic examinations and will then be released to family members.
