Motorcyclist dies after colliding head-on with a trailer on BR-222 A motorcyclist identified as Emerson Pereira Pontes died in the early hours of Sunday (2), after colliding head-on with a trailer on BR-222, close to the town Segundo Núcleo, in Buriticupu, in the interior of Maranhão. Emerson lived in Buriticupu and died at the scene, before help arrived. The motorcycle was destroyed by the impact of the crash. The driver of the truck remained at the scene after the collision, according to a person who was passing by on the highway and recorded images after the accident.
