Minimum price of regular gasoline drops to R$6.23 in João Pessoa, points out Procon-JP

Marcello Casal Jr./Agência Brasil The lowest price of regular gasoline in João Pessoa fell by R$0.04 compared to the last survey carried out by Procon-JP, going from R$6.27 to R$6.23. The survey, carried out on July 7th at 111 gas stations in the capital of Paraíba, identified prices between R$6.23 in Água Fria, and R$6.90 at stations in Paratibe and Brisamar, a difference of R$0.67 between the lowest and highest value. ? For card payments, prices vary between R$6.25, in Tambaú, and R$6.69, in five establishments. In addition to prices, the Procon-JP survey provides a list of stations with the cheapest fuels by region of the city, allowing consumers to compare the prices of regular and additive gasoline, ethanol, S10 diesel, regular diesel and CNG before refueling. Additivated gasoline is sold for between R$6.25, at stations in Beira-Rio and Torre, and R$7.79 in Bairro dos Estados. On credit cards, prices range from R$6.26, at a gas station in Tambaú, to R$6.96, in Oitizeiro. Ethanol maintained the same minimum and maximum prices as in the previous survey, being found between R$4.57, at ten stations, and R$4.99, at four establishments. To pay by card, prices vary from R$4.59, in Cabo Branco, to R$5.05, at gas stations in Gramame and Distrito Industrial.
