In dollars, the value reached US$19.26 billion. In the same period, the hub maintained a monthly average of 130.6 thousand jobs. PIM exports reached US$339.4 million in the first five months of the year. In May alone, there were US$62.2 million. The Two-Wheel sector led revenue until May, with 20.7% of the total. Next came IT Goods (20.6%), Electronics (16.2%) and Chemicals (11%). Thermoplastics (10.4%), Metallurgical (8.7%) and Mechanical (6.4%) segments also had a relevant participation. ? Production In production, the highlight was motorcycles, scooters and mopeds, with more than 1 million units manufactured. Cell phones totaled 5.08 million devices. The items that recorded the highest percentage growth in production in the period were home theaters, with 20,349 units produced; blades and cartridges, with 41,578,760 units produced; and telephone devices (including electronic intercoms), with 126,150 units. The products with the greatest growth in production were home theaters (20.3 thousand units), blades and cartridges (41.5 million) and telephone devices, including electronic intercoms (126.1 thousand).
