Witnesses said that the suspect arrived at the place where the young people were, argued with one of them and ended up stabbing them both. The military reported that they found the suspect in the murders in a house in the Monjolo sector, and tried to access the residence. He would have tried to react to the approach with a knife in his hands. Soon after, Luís Eduardo was shot by the police. The Civil Police informed that the circumstances of the incident will be investigated in a police investigation initiated by the team on duty at the Civil Police Service Center of Dianópolis. Double homicide The two young people were killed around 4am, on TO-050, close to a drinks distributor in Natividade. According to the Tocantins Public Security Secretariat (SSP/TO), medical care was provided and the deaths were confirmed at the scene. Witnesses said that the perpetrator of the crime arrived at the scene on a motorcycle and started an argument, for unknown reasons, with the victim Eduardo Rodrigues. The second victim, Otávio Moreira, tried to interfere in the argument to calm the situation, but both ended up being stabbed with a knife. According to the Military Police, the team located and seized the motorcycle used by the suspect in the escape and the knife allegedly used in the crime. The seized materials were sent to the Scientific Police. The bodies of the two victims were taken to the local Forensic Medicine Center for the necessary examinations.
