During the trial, prosecutor Dénys Cesar dos Santos Silva supported the accusation and presented the circumstances of the murder to the jurors. According to the records, the blow hit Hamilton's neck and caused deep injuries, cutting the jugular vein and trachea. The victim suffered hemorrhagic shock and died at the scene. The jurors accepted the thesis presented by the Public Ministry of Tocantins (MPTO) and recognized that the homicide was double qualified. The qualifications attributed to the crime were cruel and use of resources that made it impossible to defend the victim. See more news from the region on g1 Tocantins.
