According to the Single District Court, he abused three girls for around ten years, when they were all under 14 years old. The crimes took place between 2012 and 2022. According to the Amazonas Public Ministry, the man took advantage of the relationship of trust to commit the abuses. He was the godfather of one of the victims and a neighbor of all three. Prosecutor Ana Carolina Arruda Vasconcelos, responsible for the case, stated that the decision is a firm response to serious crimes committed against children in an environment that should be trustworthy. ?
