Paratrike falls at the back of the house in Ribeirão Preto, SP Jefferson Severiano Neves/EPTV A man was injured on Monday afternoon (6), in Ribeirão Preto (SP), when he fell from a paratrike, a type of motorized paraglider, at the back of a house in the Parque das Andorinhas neighborhood. According to a resident, the pilot usually flies around the region. At around 4:30 pm, the man heard a bang and found the paratrike lying on the roof of a room in the neighboring yard. "I ran there, climbed the wall and called for him, right? And then he came out taking off his helmet, already with his face injured. And I asked the neighbors to call Samu. Then someone helped on the other side of the house, because it's a closed house, there's no resident", says Marcos Paula de Lima. He told me he thinks it was a kite string, a kite line actually, that got tangled and caused him to fall." The pilot was rescued by a neighbor and taken to a private hospital. Despite the scare, he only had bruises on his face. The Military Police monitored the incident.
