The child was admitted to the unit with injuries compatible with sexual violence, confirmed during medical care. Faced with suspicion, the team called the police. With the information, civil police officers from the Balsas Regional Police Station and the Special Women's Police Station (DEM) went to the hospital, where they arrested the suspect in the act. The man was taken to the police station, where legal procedures were carried out. He was then taken to the prison unit, where he will remain at the disposal of the Justice.
