In a note, the TJPA informed that it will investigate the situation within the scope of the body's responsibilities. According to the court, due legal process and applicable legal guarantees will be observed. The OAB-PA stated that, in cases of arrest of lawyers, its role is to verify whether professional prerogatives are being respected. The entity also said that, regarding the merits of each case, it is up to the lawyer to exercise their technical defense through a qualified professional.
