When justifying the arrest, the judge pointed out a risk to public order and criminal investigation. According to the decision, the person being investigated had adopted a repeated pattern of approaching victims, using relationships of trust, alleged administration of medication, threats and intimidation to prevent complaints. The judge also cites evidence that the lawyer had coerced one of the teenagers to record videos denying the abuse and used supposed incorporations of spiritual entities to threaten her with death if she maintained the accusations. There is also evidence of monitoring of witnesses and non-compliance with previously imposed protective measures. Search and seizure and breach of confidentiality In addition to the arrest, the Court authorized searches of the apartment where the person under investigation resides, in the West Zone of Manaus. The decision allows the seizure of cell phones, computers, tablets, pen drives, memory cards, documents and other electronic devices. It was also determined to break the confidentiality of data stored on devices that must be seized and accounts linked to applications such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Google, Telegram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter) and mobility services, for the period between December 16, 2025 and the date of compliance with the decision. According to the judge, the measure seeks to locate digital evidence and identify possible other victims.
