'Homem com H', which tells the life of Ney Matogrosso, will be shown at the Mostra Grande Otelo Reproduction The capital of Paraíba, João Pessoa, will host, starting this Thursday (16th), the Exhibition of Finalist Films for the Grande Otelo Prize for Brazilian Cinema 2026. The event will feature free sessions at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) until July 28th. The national circuit of the film exhibition should pass through 31 Brazilian cities, including João Pessoa. The feature films shown are in contention for the popular vote in awards promoted by the Brazilian Cinema Academy. ? The public will be able to watch some of the main Brazilian films released recently, such as "The Secret Agent", by Kleber Mendonça Filho from Pernambuco, "O Último Azul" and "Manas". In addition to the screenings, the public can also vote and choose their favorite films in the Fiction, Comedy and Documentary categories through the official website of the Brazilian Cinema Academy. The ceremony for the 25th edition of the Grande Otelo Award for Brazilian Cinema should take place in August in Rio de Janeiro.
