Operation Dirty Language is carried out throughout Maceió in partnership with the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (Seminfra) and aims to combat the irregular discharge of sewage and other environmental crimes. Companhia de Saneamento de Alagoas (Casal) and Saneamento Alta Maceió (Sanama), which work under a Public-Private Partnership regime, reported that, to date, they have not received official communication about the aforementioned case. Even so, the companies say, they have already initiated internal procedures to verify the information disclosed and clarify any circumstances related to the complaint.
