Promoted by the International Relations Department, the project seeks to develop the four fundamental skills for communicating in English: oral comprehension, oral expression, reading and writing. The initiative is part of IFMG's internationalization policy and expands linguistic qualification opportunities for the academic and educational community. ? In the g1 Vales coverage area, the vacancies are intended for candidates from Governador Valadares, Ipatinga and São João Evangelista. Classes will begin on August 22nd and continue until December 12th, 2026, with a total course load of 54 hours, with 32 hours of synchronous meetings and 22 hours of asynchronous activities. Participants will use the Moodle and Google Meet platforms, and all teaching material will be available free of charge, without the need to purchase books. For intermediate classes, proof of proficiency level will be required through a placement test or completion of the previous module of the project itself. Registration must be made exclusively online by August 10th, using an online form and sending the commitment form. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of places available in a given class, selection will be carried out by lottery. The final result is scheduled for August 18th. When registering, the candidate must choose the class — beginner or intermediate — in which they wish to study.
