The suspects were approached in a car during an operation carried out by the Military and Federal Highway police in the early evening. They allegedly took advantage of the crowd and distraction of the victims to steal bank cards, documents and money. During the search of the vehicle, the police found several bank cards, statements, cell phones and money. Documents and proof of financial transactions carried out with the victims' cards were also seized. Furthermore, the police had access to video surveillance images that captured one of the suspects making withdrawals with one of the victims' cards.
