Reseller from Paraná makes shelves with a World Cup theme Restocker Alex Grassiti decided to transform the shelves of the market where he works in Iporã, in the Northwest of Paraná, into art inspired by the World Cup. He stopped just organizing the merchandise and started displaying them in a more attractive way, using the Pixel Art technique. With little boxes of cream, Alex represented the Brazilian dream of winning the sixth championship. On another occasion, it took him an entire day to assemble a football player out of the same material. In the produce area, he used lemons to assemble the Brazilian flag. Check it out above. ? Pixel art is a form of digital art in which images are constructed from tiny blocks called pixels. Intentionally created peer-to-peer, this technique emerged in the 1970s and 1980s due to the hardware limitations of early computers and classic video games. Alex Grassiti used the Pixel Art technique to transform market shelves into art inspired by the World Cup. Reproduction/Social networks/Roberto Porto/RPC Alex says he is a specialist in layout. The first design ideas came when he needed to organize a session for which he was responsible. In it, he placed candy boxes in the shape of a heart. As he saw that customers liked the idea, the stockist started looking for other inspiration on the internet. The first, most elaborate design was an emoji. Then, he reproduced the superhero Spider-Man to display filled cookies that were on offer. "It's not an easy job. It requires a lot of attention and patience, as it takes time. But I like challenges. Until I see it finished, I won't rest," explains the stocker. Alex Grassiti works as a stocker at a market in Iporã, in the northwest of Paraná. He supports the stocker's dedication to attracting customers' attention and says that the idea managed to boost sales. "The first drawing he made using cream caught the attention of the industry [...] It's a way of showing the product in a creative way to increase consumption. And it truly increases, as it attracts attention", says Cristovão. After the positive repercussion, Alex's desire is to invest in a career as a retail artist — professionals responsible for visual communication and store organization. "Everything you do today, you have to do with love for the profession. I have a lot! And if we don't have love for the profession, the results won't come. So it's about doing your best, with the tool you have", concludes Alex. Most watched videos on g1 Paraná Read more news on g1 Paraná.
