Fire was filmed by residents in Ananindeua Reproduction A fire destroyed two warehouses in a complex on BR-316 in Ananindeua, Greater Belém, in the early hours of this Saturday (25). The fire lasted for hours, scared residents and spread smoke throughout several neighborhoods. No one was injured and the causes are being investigated. The fire occurred in a complex of warehouses where several companies operate in the Levilândia neighborhood. According to the Fire Department, three of them were hit and two were completely destroyed. One of the warehouses stored hospital supplies and the other stored household appliances and cleaning materials. ? Those nearby reported seeing pieces of the burning structure flying.

Parts of the warehouse structure ended up on the roofs of neighboring houses and in the middle of the street. Residents said they heard explosions in the early hours of the morning. The fire started around midnight and was only controlled early this Saturday morning. “When we arrived at the scene, there was already a warehouse completely occupied,” said Fire Department Lieutenant Emílio Rodrigues. On Rua Belo Horizonte, next to the warehouses, the smoke was still strong in the morning. The forecast, according to firefighters, is that the recovery work will last throughout Saturday, because the material remaining from the load was still very hot and there was a risk of the fire starting again.
