Over the course of 11 days, around 3,500 competitors will compete in nine disciplines, with a prize pool of more than R$1.5 million. The program includes the national finals of PBR Brazil (Professional Bull Riders) and the National Rodeo League (LNR), in addition to the Três Tambores, Team Penning, Team Roping, Ranch Sorting, Breakaway Roping, Bareback, Sela Americana, Cutiano and Rodeio Júnior competitions. The competition will feature athletes classified by the main national championships and names that are currently among the highlights of the world rodeo. Among them is Cássio Dias Barbosa, world bull riding champion in 2024. The competitor won the PBR Brazil 2021/2022 season title during the Festa do Peão de Barretos, a result that paved the way for his career in the United States, where he achieved the world title in the sport. Another confirmed name is João Ricardo Vieira, two-time champion of The American Rodeo and one of the most successful Brazilians in the history of North American rodeo. According to the Festa's rodeo director, Marcos Abud, the athlete will compete in Barretos before ending his career.
