Praia do Capricórnio, in Caraguatatuba, SP Disclosure/Circuito Litoral Norte de São Paulo A father and his two children were rescued after drowning on the afternoon of this Thursday (16) in the region known as Lagoa Azul, in the right corner of Praia do Capricórnio, in Caraguatatuba, on the North Coast of São Paulo. According to the Maritime Fire Brigade (GBMar), the two children were playing in the water when they were surprised by a strong wave. They were swept away by the current and began to drown. ? Before the rescue teams arrived, a fisherman who was passing by noticed what had happened and managed to remove the three victims from the water. Shortly afterwards, teams from the Fire Department and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) arrived at the scene to provide assistance. According to GBMar, the 11-year-old girl suffered a grade 3 drowning, while the 8-year-old boy suffered a grade 1 drowning. The father suffered a grade 4 drowning. The three victims received treatment at the scene and were taken to Santa Casa Stella Maris. According to firefighters, they arrived at the hospital without any worsening of their clinical condition during transport.
