The material was found on Monday (3), inside an abandoned house. ?Join the g1 Alagoas channel The discovery occurred during an operation by the Homicide and Personal Protection Police Station (DHPP) to execute arrest warrants against two homicide suspects. They have not been found and remain at large. Installation on power poles According to police chief Lucimério Campos, the police received anonymous reports, via telephone 181, that the region was monitored by criminals. During the action, police officers identified structures prepared to receive equipment on electricity poles. The dealership was called to help with the removal. The delegate explained that, in the past, cameras used to be placed in front of the homes of people linked to crime or residents who, out of fear, were unable to prevent the installation. Now, the equipment is now fixed to poles, as they are higher and more discreet locations. According to DHPP, the system allowed criminals to monitor the arrival of security forces, gain time to escape and monitor possible clashes with rival groups. Escape and seizure of weapons After removing the structures, the teams went to the abandoned house indicated in the complaint. Five surveillance cameras were found in the property — one of which is still unused — as well as a 12-gauge shotgun and a 32-caliber revolver. The weapons were hidden under a bed. The operation on Monday (3) was related to the murder of José Renato, which took place on April 26, in the Bebedouro neighborhood. According to the investigation, the victim was killed by three people who were in a white car. One of the suspects in the crime was arrested last week, also in Grota Santa Helena. The Civil Police reported that they will continue to carry out operations in the region to locate the other two suspects. Faction used clandestine cameras to monitor police in Maceió cave.
