In 2025, the Flor da Noite heifer reached 200 kilos of milk, and the Montilla cow achieved 350 kilos. Among the most anticipated attractions at Expoagro GV, the competition demonstrates the evolution of dairy activity in the region through investments in genetic improvement, animal management and nutrition. The assessment was made by the CEO of Cooperativa Agropecuária Vale do Rio Doce, João Marques. "The Dairy Competition reflects the dedication of our members and demonstrates the strength of dairy farming in our region. Each animal that participates in this competition carries a history of investment, planning and continuous improvement. It is gratifying to see this work being recognized within one of the biggest agribusiness events in Minas Gerais", he stated.
