Injuries and rescue The animal had wounds in its mouth and marks from a fishing net. After the rescue, the animal was sent to the Biota Institute Rehabilitation Center, where it will undergo evaluation and receive the necessary veterinary care for its recovery. Accidental capture in fishing nets, ocean pollution and the destruction of their natural habitats are the main threats to their survival on the Brazilian coast.
