In 2004, he joined the Legislature as a councilor for Aracaju. In 2006 he was a federal deputy and in 2011 he became the State Secretariat for Human Rights and Citizenship of Sergipe. In 2012, Iran was elected councilor of Aracaju again and, in 2018, state deputy. In the 2024 municipal election, he won another race as councilor. Rodrigo Valadares (PL) Rodrigo Valadares Reproduction Alese/archive Rodrigo Valadares was once a state deputy and is currently a federal deputy for Sergipe. He was also a candidate for mayor of Aracaju, in 2020. Among the most recent issues, Rodrigo was rapporteur for the 'PL da Dosimetria', which provides for amnesty for those convicted of the January 8 coup attacks. Rogério Carvalho (PT) Rogério Carvalho Viola Jr./Chamber of Deputies/Agência Senado Rogério Carvalho was elected senator for Sergipe in 2019 and is seeking re-election this year. Between 2001 and 2006, he held the positions of municipal secretary of Health in Aracaju, when he participated in the creation of the Mobile and Emergency Care Service (Samu) in the capital, and Secretary of State for Health in Sergipe. Still in 2006, he was elected state deputy and, in 2010, federal deputy, serving in office between 2011 and 2014. In the Chamber of Deputies, he was rapporteur for the Mais Médicos program, a public policy that takes doctors to priority, remote and difficult-to-access regions.
