Duo robs fishing fishery, takes man hostage and ends up arrested in Itapira

Duo is arrested after taking fishing boat owner hostage on the border of Mogi Guaçu and Itapira Portal A Voz do Guaçu The Military Police (PM) arrested two men, aged 41 and 44, red-handed on Saturday night (2) after they robbed a fishing boat and took a man hostage. The crime took place in the Rio Manso region, in Itapira (SP), on the border with Mogi Guaçu (SP). Local security cameras recorded the moment the suspects entered the fishing spot (watch above). According to police, they used a fake gun to capture the 36-year-old victim and steal objects from a residence. The pair fled after the robbery, but were located shortly afterwards. According to the Civil Police, the PM approached one of the men still inside the car used in the crime. The second suspect tried to hide in a wooded area close to the fishing spot, but was also arrested. The incident was registered at the Judiciary Police Center (CPJ) of Mogi Guaçu.
