According to the Military Police, teams went to the indicated address in order to verify criminal activity. At the scene, agents spotted the pair near a tent holding plastic bags. Still according to the PM, upon noticing the police approaching, the suspects ran towards a forested area in the upper part of the community. The two ended up captured by agents who carried out a siege on the escape route. The illicit material collected and the two suspects were taken to the Angra dos Reis police station. The accused duo remained arrested and at the disposal of the Court. Their identities were not disclosed. In total, the police seized 70 cocaine pins and 30 portions of marijuana. According to the police, no suspect responsible for the drugs was located or identified during the teams' work in the region.
