Driver is attacked by a swarm of bees and abandons car on Tucuruí street A driver was attacked by a swarm of bees on Wednesday afternoon (9), on Rua Siqueira Campos, in the Santa Izabel neighborhood, in Tucuruí, in the southeast of Pará. According to witnesses, the driver was waiting for the traffic light to open when he was surprised by the insects. Images recorded by residents show the man trying to fend off the bees amid the attack. To escape, he abandoned the car in the middle of the road and ran towards the sidewalk. Residents called the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), which provided first aid on site. The driver was then taken to the Tucuruí Emergency Care Unit (UPA).
