City Hall investigates The Municipal Health Department (SMS) reported that the investigation is conducted by audit doctors and nurses, who evaluate medical records and procedures. The ministry also opened the London Protocol, a method for detailed investigation of adverse events and deaths.

The reports were requested from the Children's Emergency Room and the hospital involved on July 1st, with a deadline of the 3rd. The mother reported that the boy stopped urinating after receiving too much serum. According to her, the doctors did not know the diagnosis and did not order initial imaging tests. A CT scan was only done on the fourth day. The family claims it took a long time to get an ICU bed, and the child was transferred in critical condition to the Municipal Hospital, where he died on the night of June 30th. The IML pointed to sepsis (generalized infection) as the preliminary cause of death.
