On July 6, the nurse confronted the employee and showed the surveillance videos. The woman claimed that she entered the room to store things, but did not mention her cell phone. After the conversation, the caregiver did not return to work. The company was terminated this Thursday (16), with the payment of severance pay. According to the head nurse, the video recorded the moment the caregiver entered the patient's room after clocking in and changing her clothes. She went to the wardrobe, opened the door and took out her cell phone. Then, still according to the images, she wrapped the device around another object, closed the furniture and left the room. The head nurse also told the police that the caregiver herself kept the cell phone in the closet before stealing it and only she knew the location of the device.
