The Capela Velha region, one of the most densely populated in Araucária, will gain a new Municipal Early Childhood Education Center. The CMEI Aurora Lopes Wernick will be installed at Rua Codorna, no. 64, in Capela Velha. The unit is expected to serve more than 80 children. The bidding process for hiring a specialized company to carry out the work is underway. The new unit building will cover 892.21 m² and there is space on the land for expansion, if necessary. In the current project, the following are planned: 5 rooms for Children 0 to Children 3; a multipurpose room; an industrial kitchen; a cafeteria; a baby changing table; a lactation; a breastfeeding room; a teachers' room; an Administration room; a warehouse room; a pantry; a laundry room; a clothing store; adapted children's toilets; a covered patio and outdoor recreation area. The project is a standard of the National Education Development Fund (FNDE) and the necessary resources come from a Term of Commitment with FNDE/CAIXA.
