According to the corporation, Fábio de Souza Lobo was located at home this Tuesday (4), by agents from the 125th Police Station (São Pedro da Aldeia) and taken to the prison system. The investigation began in August 2023, following a complaint involving a 9-year-old girl. According to the investigation, the child started to show changes in behavior at school, anxiety and complaints of body pain, which led the family to seek psychological assistance. During monitoring by the protection network, the girl reported that she had been a victim of sexual abuse by a friend's father. He stated that the girl visited his residence to play with his daughters and that the physical contact occurred only during games, without sexual connotations. At the end of the investigation, the Civil Police concluded that the driver was charged with rape of a vulnerable person. The case was sent to the Court, which continued the criminal action until the accused was convicted. In a statement, the City of São Pedro da Aldeia reported that it is monitoring developments in the case. The municipality stated that the driver is a permanent employee and that any administrative measures will be adopted as provided for in the Public Servants Statute and due legal process. The municipal administration also reported that the employee took office in 2018 and presented a criminal record certificate, in accordance with the legal requirements in force at the time.
