As the businessman was not there, the suspect did not enter and went to the other address. According to him, the conversation took place calmly, without arguments or excitement. At the end of the conversation, the security guard stated that Vanderson pulled out a pistol and shot the businessman. Vanderson came out soon after, pointing the pistol at the employee, and fled in a pickup truck. The victim was rescued by an employee and taken to Ipiranga Hospital and Maternity, but he did not survive his injuries. According to delegate Thiago Martins Guimarães, responsible for the case, the main line of investigation is that the homicide was motivated by a commercial disagreement involving a business carried out in Rio de Janeiro.
