Click here to follow the g1 Vale do Paraíba and region channel on WhatsApp According to a decree by Mayor Celso Florêncio (PL), published in the Official Gazette of the Municipality on Friday (3), the value of the technical fare — which is the cost of the ticket paid to companies through the transport system — remains at R$8.06. The amount disbursed by passengers, which is subsidized by the city hall, will be readjusted. Justification According to the decree, this is the first adjustment to the social tariff since September 2019. The municipal administration justifies the increase by the costs of the transport system, the impacts of the pandemic and the need to maintain the economic-financial balance of the service. The text also establishes a transition rule for users of common and school Superpass cards. Credits can be purchased at the current value until July 12th and used normally for a period of 30 days.
