Bois da Maioba, Axixá, Maracanã and Barrica are highlights of the 2nd week of Vamos Festejar; see the schedule Reproduction/Disclosure The second week of Vamos Festejar 2026 brings together presentations by the oxen of Maioba, Axixá, Maracanã and Barrica at the Convento das Mercês, in São Luís. Promoted by the Fundação da Memória Republicana Brasileira (FMRB), the event features traditional groups from São João Maranhão and other manifestations of popular culture. Entry is free. ? The program also includes the Girassol Space, designed to welcome neurodivergent children, a gastronomic area and the exhibition "Bordados de Fé e Memória", which pays homage to the tradition of Bumba Meu Boi de Pindaré.
