The year 2026 marks 150 years since the arrival of the first Polish immigrants in Araucária – one of the main colonies that established themselves in the city. Since then, the city's culture and tradition have gained new traits, knowledge and flavors that remain to this day. To celebrate this milestone, on the 7th, 8th and 9th of August, Parque Cachoeira hosts the first edition of an authentic “Polish party” – Polski Festiwal, an event open to the community, with several free attractions.
