Mobiliza launches Breno Guimarães to the Senate for Pará. Thaís Neves / g1 The National Mobilization Party (Mobiliza) confirmed, on the afternoon of this Wednesday (5), Breno Guimarães' candidacy for the Senate for Pará. The decision was made official during a convention held at the Engineering Club, in Belém. Breno Guimarães, 44 years old, is a public servant and is running for an elected position for the first time. He is a graduate of the Court of Justice of Pará (TJPA) and was the first person from Pará to preside over the Brazilian Institute of Partisan Law (Ibradep). ? "Pará has suffered problems over the years due to not having our federative community strengthened. We have already had two requests for a plebiscite in Pará, forming the states of Carajás and Tapajós, which did not succeed, but there is the intention of the local population to reactivate these discussions, because they see themselves as far from the center of power", he stated. In the academic field, he has a master's degree in political science from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) and has more than ten postgraduate studies in the public sector and is in the process of completing a doctorate in constitutional law. Guimarães is a member of research entities, such as ABCP and ABRAPEL, is part of the Brazilian Academy of Electoral and Political Law (ABRADEP) and founded the Brazilian Institute of Party Law (IBRADEP), in 2023.
