Araruama students win medals in business olympiad Disclosure/Seeduc-RJ Six students from Ciep 148 Professor Carlos Elio Vogas da Silva, in Araruama, in the Lakes Region of Rio, won medals and honorable mentions in the first edition of the Brazilian Business and Entrepreneurship Olympiad (OBNE). The competition, held in July, brought together more than 20 thousand basic education students from public and private schools across the country. Students Francielle Gomes da Silva and João Victor dos Santos Rodrigues received silver medals, while João Victor Brito Azevedo won the bronze medal. Maria Eduarda de Oliveira Gondim, Anna Julya Conceição de Brito and Erick Vinícius Santos Cavalcante were honored with honorable mentions for their performance at the Olympics. OBNE was created to stimulate entrepreneurship, creativity and problem-solving skills among basic education students. During the competition, participants develop projects that involve identifying opportunities, research, communication, notions of finance, marketing and validating ideas. ? Ciep 148 has Full High School classes with itineraries focused on innovation, the world of work and entrepreneurship.
