Operation against drug trafficking ends with death and three detained in RJ Disclosure/Civil Police An operation against drug trafficking ended with a young man, aged 21, dead, two men, aged 20 and 33, arrested and a teenager, aged 14, apprehended in the early afternoon of this Tuesday (7) in Barra Mansa (RJ). The case took place in the Getúlio Vargas neighborhood. According to the Barra Mansa Civil Police, the agents approached the target point of the operation in an unmarked vehicle when they were shot at by suspects involved in drug trafficking. According to the police, the agents returned fire and during the confrontation, a suspect was shot. Two other men were arrested and a 14-year-old teenager was apprehended. Another suspect managed to escape. He succumbed to his injuries and died in the medical unit. The Civil Police also reported that during the action a pistol, a charger, three pieces of ammunition, 17 bottles of loló, 27 portions of marijuana and 142 capsules of cocaine were seized. The suspects were taken to the Barra Mansa police station, which is responsible for the investigations. The 14-year-old teenager will be presented to the Public Prosecutor's Office for appropriate measures. The other suspects, aged 20 and 33, will be sent to the prison system, where they will remain at the disposal of the courts. The Civil Police continues to investigate to identify and locate the suspect who managed to escape and also to determine the participation of other members of the group.
