With a historical record of more than 7,700 associated companies, the Commercial and Industrial Association of Piracicaba (Acipi) celebrates, this Thursday (9), its 93 years of foundation in a landmark moment in its trajectory. The brand consolidates its leading role while continuing the retrofit project at the Telmo Otero Building to expand its service capacity, with the revitalization of more than 1,500 square meters. Founded in 1933 with the purpose of representing the interests of commerce, service providers and industry, Acipi reaches 2026 reaffirming its vocation of connecting to strengthen. Over almost a century, the entity has built operations based on actively listening to its members and delivering practical solutions for business development, from small family businesses to large groups. Businesswomen Luciana and Marina Lorandi, at the helm of Bazar Modelo, are good examples of this partnership relationship. Acipi's oldest member, the company turned 74 years old in April and, throughout its history, has regularly used the entity's solutions. For Luciana Lorandi, the relationship with Acipi is intertwined with the company's own history. "The person who initially joined was my father, when the store was still his. Then I continued and today my daughter Marina follows this path. Acipi has always been very important to us. We used credit research a lot, it was a daily routine. We also participated in promotions, sweepstakes. It's a lifelong partnership", he states. Today Bazar Modelo is under the management of Marina Lorandi, third generation at the helm of the business. "The partnership remains even more necessary given the new challenges in the sector. Today, with digital technology so present and street commerce facing challenges, Acipi's work in strengthening local commerce is essential. I think it is very important to continue this movement of qualification and collective strengthening", comments Marina. For the president of Acipi, Mauricio Benato, Luciana and Marina's speeches are full of representation. "Celebrating Acipi's 93 years is recognizing trajectories built with listening and commitment. Reaching 7,700 members reflects confidence in the entity's work and reinforces our role in offering practical solutions at all stages of the business journey." One of the main symbols of the 93 years is the evolution of the Telmo Otero Building retrofit project, which began last year and is currently in an advanced stage. With interventions covering approximately 1,600 square meters, the project covers all floors of the historic building on Rua do Rosário, with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, comfort, access control and better use of spaces. The current stage focuses on modernizing the ground floor, which is in the final stages of execution and will requalify access to the building, allowing the reactivation of services to the public and associated companies in a more functional environment. The space will also house a new reception, living spaces, training areas and a new mini auditorium. In the basement, interventions are already taking place and were significant: the auditorium underwent a complete update of the lighting and sound systems, adapting to current standards for institutional events and locations. The foyer has been completely redesigned. The upper floors also reflect Acipi's new positioning. On the first floor, with works already completed, XP Investimentos is located, in a modern, air-conditioned environment designed for around 100 employees. The space also houses Jucesp, with a complete structure and in full operation. The second floor underwent transformations to welcome Glovis, a logistics company with a strong connection to Hyundai, in a structure planned for approximately 60 employees — a move that reinforces the entity's integration with large business operations. Work is underway at an accelerated pace in the revitalization of more than 1,500 square meters of the Telmo Otero Building, which will once again have a reception to access Acipi via Rua do Rosário – Credit: Disclosure.

The consistent growth of the association base is directly linked to the diversification of the solutions offered. Acipi offers a structured portfolio that includes initiatives such as Concilia+, Acipi Conecta, AC Marcas, medical, educational and dental agreements, the Eba benefits card, Faculty of Commerce (FAC), Intal Estágios, room rental, Business Portal, legal support, in addition to the work of the Young Entrepreneur Council (CJE) and the Women Entrepreneur Council (CME). At the same time, the entity maintains essential services for the business environment, such as digital certification, SCPC consultations and Jucesp services, in addition to training through the Acipi/Inova Acipi Business School. Acipi's day-to-day activities, courses, lectures and solutions can be found on social media or on the website http://www.acipi.com.br.
