Miguel Pereira Police Station Disclosure/Civil Police An accident left two military police officers injured and ended with an exchange of gunfire with suspects on Wednesday night (22) in Miguel Pereira (RJ). The case took place on Rua Frederico Wangler, in the Praça da Ponte neighborhood. According to the Military Police, the agents were patrolling the stretch when a motorcycle, with two suspects not yet identified, disobeyed the order to stop and crashed into the vehicle's door. They managed to escape and left behind a revolver with five intact cartridges. Also according to the PM, during the search for the individuals, agents were informed about shots fired near the address where they were staying. At the scene, a vehicle was found crashed into an embankment.

One of the agents suffered an injury to the head and the other to the hand due to the accident. They were rescued and taken to the Luiz Gonzaga Municipal Hospital. g1 contacted the medical unit to update the status of the agents and is awaiting feedback. The case was registered at the Miguel Pereira police station as attempted murder against public security agents.
