Accident between bus and truck leaves injured on the border between SC and RS

Accident occurred on the border between Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina Fire Department/Social Networks/Reproduction An accident between a milk transport truck and a bus left at least nine people injured on BR-480, on Friday night (24), in Nonoai (RS), close to the border with Chapecó (SC). The bus was carrying 18 passengers, according to the Fire Department. The accident happened around 9pm, in front of the State Treasury Tax Office, on the Rio Grande do Sul side. The bus driver was found conscious and oriented, but trapped by his legs and feet, in addition to having cuts on his chest and face and pain in his collarbone. In the images, it is possible to see that the front of the truck collided with the rear of the bus. The dynamics of the collision were not disclosed. The operation was coordinated by firefighters from Rio Grande do Sul and also had support from the Military Road Brigade and the State Highway Police of Santa Catarina.
