85-year-old man is arrested after conviction for rape against his own children, in Esperança

Esperança Police Station Disclosure/Civil Police An 85-year-old man was arrested this Monday (6) in the city of Esperança, in Agreste da Paraíba. He was convicted of the crimes of rape of a vulnerable person and mistreatment of his own children, but was released until his final conviction. At the time of the crimes, the victims were 9 and 12 years old. According to the Civil Police, the abuses occurred in 2012. ? The Court ordered the remaining sentence of 37 years, 9 months and 3 days of imprisonment to be served, in an initially closed regime. After the decision, the 2nd Mixed Court of the District of Esperança issued the request for definitive arrest. The suspect was located during investigations by the Special Tactical Group (GTE) team and taken to the competent prison unit.
