He was found dead inside the house where the couple lived. To g1, the delegate responsible for the case, Rêmullo Diniz, informed that, this Tuesday (7), neighbors and the couple's daughter will be interviewed. Acre continues to have one of the highest femicide rates in the country. According to the PM, a team from the 8th Battalion was called to respond to the incident and, upon arriving at the address, Maria was lying lifeless outside the house. According to a witness' report to the police, the couple were arguing inside the residence when, a short time later, Maria screamed for help. Upon arriving at the scene to check what had happened, the witness found Maria lying down with injuries.
