When the teams arrived at the scene, the businessman was trapped in the car's hardware, parked on the side of the road, while the truck had overturned. The driver of the cargo vehicle was found walking on the highway. The accident mobilized teams from the Criciúma and Forquilhinha Fire Departments, in addition to Samu and the Military Police.
