The 29-year-old striker has his doors open at Palmeiras, and seeks out the club's CT when he needs to recover from injury or improve his physical form. The athlete ran on one of the Football Academy's fields while the coaching staff led a training game between the squad.
The player's presence at Palmeiras CT has no relation to a possible negotiation. Palmeiras understands that Jesus will return to the club, but that it will not be at this time.
Jesus has a contract with Arsenal until June 30, 2027, and does not intend to leave the club before the end of the contract. The player's English citizenship is about to expire, and he wants to complete this process before transferring.
In the 2025/26 season, Jesus only played 27 games for Arsenal, scoring six goals and providing one assist.
The striker suffered a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee in January 2025 and was out of action for eleven months.
