On social media, Peppino's official profile published a photo of the singer accompanied only by the word "Ciao", which means "bye" in Italian. The musician would have turned 87 on the 27th. Born Giuseppe Faiella, Peppino built a decades-long career in Italian music. Among his biggest hits are the songs "Champagne" and "Roberta", which helped make him known inside and outside Italy. The wake and burial will be held this Sunday (12), at the Church of Santo Stefano, in Capri. Peppino leaves three sons: Arrigo, known as Igor, Edoardo and Dario.
